MY COACHING STORY
“If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
This African proverb is a favourite of mine. We can indeed often move faster on our own, but to reach real depth and breadth in our professional and personal lives we need others with us. As a certified coach, my primary interest is helping people to realise their potential. I coach my clients in a way that utilises both their heads and their hearts.
I help to unblock and unlock the obstacles and limiting beliefs that can hinder our potential and close the gap between potential and performance. By providing a powerful thinking environment I help move from goals to action to sustainable results.
BACKGROUND
I work as an executive coach and business consultant in a variety of sectors. I have over 20 years experience across business in programme design and delivery, establishing and leading teams and coaching people to greater success. I have worked across a variety of sectors tackling key business, organisational and governance challenges. As Director of Impact in Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, I led the design and delivery of targeted support programmes for high potential social entrepreneurs to get to scale. Central to this was one to one coaching for the CEOs/Founders and delivery of both one to one and group training and development. Prior to this I established and led the EMEA Education Services division in Salesforce, the leading cloud based services and CRM company. I was co-founder and Technical Director of the award winning e-learning company Educational Multimedia Group with teams in Ireland, UK and US. My experience of working closely with highly talented entrepreneurs and business leaders who are tackling complex business, social and environmental issues has given me significant insight into the challenges that business leaders and their teams face.
